Since June 30th 2008, York Beach has had a working taxi service. Founded by seasonal resident,
Patty McGoldrick, the taxi runs between York and Ogunquit, and surrounding areas, for Flat Rates
Starting at $12.

“It has been a need for years, and I thought it was due time considering all that is going on with the historic renovation taking place in downtown York.

We want to help the community in general, aiding in reliable transportation,” says Patty, when asked why she wanted to take on this new business.

Patty hopes to run during the day for beach goers and late in to the evening/morning hours for patrons at any and all of our local establishments.

With two vehicles, accommodating up to 5 or 6 passengers each fare, we hope to satisfy all the families vacationing in York, as well as the workers. With the revitalization of the town, we want to help show off the beautiful area we have here at the beach!
